“a party without cake is just a meeting!”
-Julia Child
From as far back as I can remember, food has been a central part of my life. Not just as nourishment, but as a source of joy, creativity, and connection. Food is more than energy—it's what fuels my passion and fills my memories. From family gatherings to holidays and celebrations, every special moment has revolved around the flavors and aromas that define those experiences. Embracing this love for food, I chose not just to become a chef, but to specialize in the art of pastries.
My journey began in my great-grandmother’s kitchen, where I’d stand on tiptoes to place a pot on her old kitchen radiator. Back then, my culinary creations were more imaginative than sophisticated—water mixed with any herbs and spices I could find. She graciously tasted every concoction, and in doing so, sparked the creative drive within me to make something special for others to enjoy.
To take this budding passion to the next level, I knew I had to get serious. I began by studying Culinary Arts at Baltimore’s premier magnet high school for the arts. From there, I honed my skills and transformed my passion into a craft by earning a Bachelor’s degree from the renowned Culinary Institute of America in New York. After graduating, I set out to immerse myself in every facet of the hospitality and food service industry, learning from some of the best in the business. This journey has taken me through some of the world’s finest restaurants, hotels, theme parks, and kitchens, working alongside incredibly talented chefs, caterers, and culinary experts.
And now, all of that has brought me here, inviting you to share in the sweeter side of life. My journey is just getting started, and I promise—it’s going to be delicious. Stay tuned!
